Developed at   TNAU, Coimbatore Colour of Bulbs  Crimson Weight 60-65 g per clump Size Moderately bigger Characteristics  7-9 bulblets per plant. Shorter duration than Co-1 i.e. 65 days. Pungent with high TSS.    Good storer.  Moderately resistant to thrips and Alternaria blight.   Average yield 120 quintals per hectare Season  Adaptability through out Tamil Nadu.
